Should I Grade It? Kit
Grading costs real money, and most cards don't earn it back. This spreadsheet does the math before you spend it, on your numbers.

$9 one-time, USD. No account, no subscription.
What the spreadsheet does
Enter a raw sale price, your realistic sale values at each grade and your honest odds for each. The Decide sheet shows the expected result of grading against selling raw, with a plain verdict. Every number is yours: the kit does not predict a grade.
- A GRADE / COIN FLIP / DON'T GRADE verdict, with expected profit after grading fees, shipping, marketplace fees and your time
- The PSA 10 probability at which grading breaks even, so you can test your gut against the math
- A 25-card Batch sheet with totals, for planning a whole submission
- An editable fee tracker for PSA, BGS, CGC and SGC tiers, with a source-URL column. It starts with example fees; you enter each grader's current prices
- A centering checker with the commonly published PSA 10 / 9 guide built in
What you get
- should-i-grade-kit.xlsx: five sheets (Decide, Batch, Fees, Centering, Read me). Works in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
- guide.pdf: “How to decide whether to grade a card”, three pages.
Prefer to try the idea first? The free Should I grade this card? calculator, the centering calculator and the grading cost calculator stay free.
14-day refund
Estimates only; not affiliated with PSA, Beckett, CGC or SGC. The kit is arithmetic on the numbers you enter, not a grade prediction, authentication or a guarantee of what a card will sell for.
